Seller Guidelines
Great photos and honest grading help your items sell faster and build your seller reputation. Here's how to make every listing shine.
Taking great photos
Use natural daylight
Photograph near a window or outside in shade. Avoid harsh direct sun and dim indoor lighting — it hides true colors and fabric texture.
Fill the frame
Lay the item flat and shoot straight down so the whole garment fills the photo. Avoid angled shots that distort shape and size.
Capture all the details
Include close-ups of the zipper, snaps, cuffs, and print. Buyers want to see exactly what they're getting, including any wear.
Grading conditions accurately
TrustTag's AI suggests a grade for every scan, but you know your item best. Use this guide to confirm or adjust the grade before you list.
Worn once or twice. No visible wear, stains, or fading. Fabric and print look brand-new.
Lightly loved with minimal signs of wear. No stains; tiny pilling only on close inspection.
Clearly worn but well cared for. Minor fading, light pilling, or one small flaw noted.
Loved hard. Visible wear, fading, or a small stain — still plenty of life left for play clothes.
Significant damage: large stains, broken zipper, or tears. Best for patches or fabric scraps.
Do's & don'ts
Show any flaws honestly — a close-up of a stain builds trust.
Don't use filters or heavy editing that misrepresents color.
Photograph on a clean, neutral background.
Don't hide wear in shadows — buyers will notice on arrival.
